What are the pros of working at your company and/or team?
The company has a real business that works well and grows at a good pace. If you like B2B, it is a very fulfilling place to work: it is easy to identify with the users, talk to them, and you can see how your work helps them.People at Stripe are polite, work well and are professional, which means that most people end up in a good team with good people and a good dynamic.
What are the cons or red flags of working at your company and/or team?
Stripe is already a fairly mature company with ways of doing things. That means that you don't get to do what you want, when you want, but rather, you have to learn to work The Stripe Way[tm] which is more bureaucratic that I would like.Stripe employees avoid confrontation which makes it very hard to get things done when there are 7000 people that could have a problem with what you are doing.
